Malvern is a regional destination for its unique shops and restaurants, as well as its growing arts community. The public art installations around town are an everyday gift to the residents of the community and visitors alike. Combined with the huge regional significance of the Wabash Trace Trail and easy access to the Council Bluffs/Omaha metropolitan area, Malvern continues to attract visitors from near and far. Malvern features unique gallery spaces such as the Art Church and Fine Arts on 5th that showcase local artists and provide spaces for events.
The City of Malvern was designated an Iowa Great Place in 2016.
