Iowa Independent Film Festival
The Iowa Independent Film Festival is looking for creative, innovative, thought-provoking and entertaining independent films. We are especially interested in films made in Iowa and the Midwest. The festival has showcased short films, feature-length dramatic films, documentaries as well as student films. Please note, while Music Videos are accepted, they will be treated and judged as a movie.
Founded in 2007, the Iowa Independent Film Festival first opened its doors in Mason City and has been doing it ever since all the while expanding to nearby Clear Lake, Iowa. With film entries all over the world and guest appearances by Judd Nelson (The Breakfast Club), Randal Kleiser (Grease), and Gary Kroger (Saturday Night Live), we're the festival so big it takes two cities to host it!
