The Iowa Creative Places Exchange is the annual convening for the leaders of the designated Iowa Great Places and Cultural Entertainment Districts. Representatives from these communities are invited for a day of networking, learning and celebrating creative communities in Iowa. The latest exchange took place on Friday, October 22, 2021.
The Iowa Creative Places Exchange is designed to generate ideas and share resources along with being a catalyst for building stronger communities through creative, multi-disciplinary planning and solutions. The exchange features sessions led by community leaders from across Iowa who have planned and implemented arts, culture, and equitable development projects. Finally, this exchange enables communities to connect through problem-solving and funding workshops designed to create actionable solutions for issues that challenge creative communities across Iowa.
